Creative Futures 9! Live, Tonight & Sold Out!
So it’s been a long time coming. The first “Live” Creative Futures event to happen since the Covid Era lock down is happening tonight at the lovely Rose Shure Experience Centre in London. It’s been so long since Tiger Heart have been able to do a live event so I am definitely not taking this moment for granted. As we start to slowly leave the constrains of the current Covid era we as a human race are starting to enter another tragic era of human loss but this time around the madness that surrounds Ukraine. Think what you will but I still strongly believe that it is only through innovation and tolerance that we can overcome the stresses that humanity faces in the next hundred years. Tonight’s event will be in memory of those in that conflict and I hope a resolution comes soon for everyone’s sake. Anyway, back to Creative Futures 9! We have some great guests that I am super excited to be sharing the stage with this evening. Amelia Kallman is a Futurist and a great friend who has graced the stage at Creative Futures before back in February 2018. You can watch that here:
As an innovation and technology communicator, Amelia regularly consults brands, agencies, and governments on the impact of new technologies on the future of business and our lives.
Next up is Tom Whiter, Head of Curation for the music streaming platform Keakie, responsible for running the Content division who stock the site with DJ mixes, radio shows and podcasts. I was introduced to Tom by his colleague Jake Lazarus whom I spoke to about Keakie on the “Sanj Surati Talks” podcast a few years back. You can listen to that episode here:
Before joining the company he spent 10 years working for BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra as a senior Producer, working with some of the best-known DJs and presenters in the industry including Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Clara Amfo and Greg James. He’s been in charge of the Live Lounge and Radio 1’s coverage of Glastonbury Festival, as well as producing shows for artists like BTS, The 1975, Little Mix and Charli XCX.
Following in Tom’s music steps is the incredible Tally Spear, an amazing singer songwriter and also the sister of the drummer of my band Anonymous Tip. Tally is a Recording Artist and Songwriter based in London and Co-founder social media and creative agency Girls Create. Girls Create are a community of passionate creatives and social media professionals all with expertise in different areas of the digital and creative sector. Reared on rock music, Tally brings a punk attitude to pop music following support from BBC Introducing London and Radio X, the rising alt/pop singer is determined to take the lead role, writing and co-producing her music and editing and directing her music videos and visuals. As noted by Clash Magazine, ‘Resolutely DIY, she’s able to make something grand from the smallest budget, nailing down her ideas with impeccable precision. An active animal rights advocate and lover of eco-fashion.
Last but certainly not least we have Ade Adefolalu from the All Star Music Group. Ade and I used to teach music together at the University of Westminster. Ade is a Grammy Award Winning Music Manager with over 30 years of Music Business experience. He runs the All Star Music Group, a marketing and management consultancy that represents the business interests of AK Events & Media. As a vocal and performance coach he has had notable success working with MOBO Award winners Kele Le Roc, Allyson Brown and Raymond Dyer, Lisa Maffia, Nataylia Roni, Allyson Brown and Andy Abrahams.
The line up is ace but we would not be doing this event without our support. I want to thank the Shure team who are just ace and this venue is just super out of this world from a tech and location perspective. Jennie and the team here rule! Also, big love to our drinks partner Signature Brew tonight who have given us a load of beer for all the guests.
Tonight will be an ace night!
