Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
At Tiger Heart it is important to go to events that have artistic expression at the core of their narratives as it helps us to shape our perspective on how to apply technology in the art space. Technology has no purpose if there is no strong narrative to utilise the platform. On Thursday 18th April, Sanj and I were lucky enough to go along to an art exhibition at the venue ‘Jealous’ in Shoreditch. This event was in aid for Katie Piper’s charity, ‘The Katie Piper Foundation’. This charity gives support to those who suffer life changing scars, such as a repercussion after an acid attack or burns. The aim of the event was to show that beauty can still exist even after an element of its foundation has changed. This was done by an artist donating a piece of their work and allowing another individual to add or change something of the piece. Our lovely creative partner Sara Pope donated ‘Forbidden’, a piece which shows a beautiful set of perfectly pump and pink lips. This image was then altered by the amazing Ronnie Wood. The event, like Katie Piper, was both beautiful and inspirational, having a message that everyone should live by. The stories here truly inspired us which showed that they connect with the audience.
